SLAB.engineering is a civil engineering firm based in Milan. We provide integrated services in structural design, 3D survey, construction supervision and planning compliance.
Technical experience, integrated vision
A civil engineer with more than 13 years' experience in construction, Giovanni La Penna built solid hands-on expertise working for design firms and construction companies and on sites in Italy and abroad, before setting up the firm in 2019.
Training at Politecnico di Milano and direct experience on site — from the Milan metro to shopping centres in Belgium, from geotechnics to residential structures — make it possible to approach every project with a complete, practical and solution-oriented technical view, with the support of a network of collaborators.
Specialising in structural design, building permit applications, 3D laser scanning surveys and planning compliance analysis, Giovanni coordinates a team of collaborators with complementary skills to offer an integrated service from concept to handover.
